Kjento (24) was raised in Deerlijk, a small city located in the Western, Flemish part of Belgium.
He grew up around Rock, Metal and Pop music.
As a young kid he's very active, caring and interested in music. Early on he's printing out lyrics of his favorite songs to sing them along.
Armed with his radio filled with CD's (which he burns through sketchy websites) and his mic with speaker (that he got from Santa Claus), he's all set.
In his early teens he gets into Drum & Bass and Dubstep to eventually grow towards, and settle with Hip Hop and Jazz.
As soon as he gets a hang of Virtual DJ, he's stoked to dive deeper into the art of music production itself. He starts creating music around the age of 15, and experiments with the DnB sounds he soaks up at underground parties in Belgium.
Around the age of 18 he slows down in tempo and begins producing Hip Hop influenced beats. Now he's in it for real. He grows a big load of passion for melodies and beatmaking, but also love and appreciation for Jazz, Blues and Funk.
At this time (19 - 20) he's learning new things off of Youtube and goofing around making loops on the daily.
He enjoys making music so much, that he takes all of his savings and invests in his passion.
Moving overseas, graduating as an Independent Artists at Musicians Institute in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
